Andrea Alexander is a freelance writer, journalist, photographer, and designer. She served as the editor-in-chief over the Southern Adventist University student newspaper, “The Accent,” for the fiscal year of 2010-11. Also, she has been published twice in the “Inside Report,” a Christian magazine based out of Roseville, California. She has experience in many areas of writing such as copy-editing, ghostwriting, development, magazine, non-fiction, news, and others.
Andrea grew up in the suburbs of Los Angeles, then she moved to the Sacramento area with her family when she was about 8 years old. After living there for a few years, she left to finish high school at Fountainview Academy in British Columbia, Canada. After graduating, she attended Mission College in Oregon then Southern Adventist University in Tennessee, where she is still a student. She is studying Mass Communication with an emphasis in writing and editing and is scheduled to graduate in December 2012. She recently married a fellow Southern student, Justin Alexander, whom is studying to become a hospital chaplain. They are planning on moving to Loma Linda after they complete their education in Tennessee. Eventually, they would like to settle down on the West Coast and raise a family of their own.
Andrea has a desire to help others and make a positive impact in the world. She trusts that God is leading in her life, and she is watching for opportunities that have a focused cause behind them. She is available for contract work in her areas of expertise.
